Our third Outdoor Escape Game Hamburg is something very special because it is completely different from “The Conspiracy“ and “Illuminati“. This time, the communicator (tablet in your language?) is a marginal phenomenon and the puzzles and game materials are in the foreground. We want to present you with new facets and ideas with every game to surprise you again and again.

Outdoor Escape Hamburg: Störtebeker
The legendary pirate Klaus Störtebeker was beheaded not far from the OPOLUM on Grasbrook in HafenCity in 1401. Legend has it that he ran headlong past his crew to save their lives.
Today, paraphernalia that may have something to do with Störtebeker has turned up in the OPOLUM. The Museum of Hamburg History is once again putting Robert the Historian at your side to uncover a well-kept secret about Störtebeker. Because Störtebeker, Columbus and da Gama had one thing in common.
It’s up to you to rewrite history! Are you ready for a very special pirate adventure?
Escape experience in a class of its own
The ingenious outdoor escape game
While with “Illuminati” we took great care to integrate the tablet into the game in different ways, but with “Störtebeker” we wanted to push the tablet as far into the background as possible. This game is all about a haptic experience in a class of its own! You will find the highest quality game material ever seen in an Outdoor Escape Hamburg: leather canvas, metal plates and wooden disks are just the beginning.
In addition, the distance in this game is around 30% shorter than in our other games. Only about 1 km has to be covered. This is because the game is set around the Maritime Museum in HafenCity and all the puzzle stations are close together. This setting for an outdoor escape game is absolutely unique. You will love it!

This Outdoor Escape Hamburg is essentially based on a wonderful outdoor escape game from Vienna. After we encouraged our colleagues from Crime Runners 2021 to build an outdoor game following the successful launch of our first game “The Conspiracy”, they created a game that is unique in the outdoor escape game world with their game “Opus Arcani” and is already causing a stir throughout Europe. And of course we were the first port of call for an adaptation.
We’ve been working on a version for Hamburg with Crime Runners for over nine months now. We are all so proud of this game. Thanks to Steff and Lukas and the whole team for the outstanding collaboration.
