An escape room is a game in which the aim is to solve a series of puzzles as a group in a certain amount of time. By solving the puzzles, the players make their way through one or more rooms to the exit and successfully complete their mission. Such escape room games – also known as room escape, escape game or exit game – can now be found in almost every major city in the world.

In an escape room, you are given a task that is wrapped up in a story, for example: “Solve the criminal case”, “Escape from prison”, “Find the treasure” or “Save the world!”. To complete this task, you have to master several subtasks – finding clues, solving puzzles, cracking codes, opening containers, deciphering messages, etc.

The so-called “operator”, an employee, explains all the rules at the beginning, monitors the game and helps if the situation seems hopeless.

An escape room is equally suitable for all age groups – especially for people who enjoy solving puzzles, puzzling and combining. It is ideal to experience the adventure together with friends or family, but companies and businesses also use the escape room for team-building measures and shared magical moments with colleagues. Master mysterious challenges together and promote team spirit!

It depends on the size of the room! In our rooms, up to 20 people can play the “ChainSAW – The Dangerous Game” room at the same time. This makes it the largest of its kind in our city. Our outdoor game “The Conspiracy” can even be played by up to 50 people at the same time.

On average, an escape room lasts between 60 and 90 minutes – depending on how quickly you solve the tasks as a team and reach your destination.
However, there are also so-called pop-up escape rooms, which are usually developed for promotions and often only last 10 minutes.

The puzzles in an escape room are highly varied and entertaining. There are picture puzzles, logic puzzles, encrypted clues whose codes have to be cracked, hidden objects that have to be found and acoustic or visual puzzles that are solved through logical combinations and optimal team communication.

In other escape rooms, you can simply have clues displayed on monitors in different languages, for example. But since everything happens live with actors, we limit ourselves to the German language.
