We are looking for mini-jobbers who can work with us every Wednesday, Thursday or Friday from 15:00 – 22:30. On Sundays the working hours are from 12:00 – 20:00.
Are you looking for a part-time job? Then we can use your talents every Wednesday and Thursday. Optionally also Friday or Sunday as a third day by arrangement.
You start with us at €13.90 per hour.
IMPORTANT: Our Escape Room Theater is not a classic theater with a stage and fixed speaking roles. Improvisation with the different target groups is very important in order to be able to offer each group a unique and tailor-made experience.
Your tasks:
Escape Room Hamburg Theater
- Welcome, introduction and farewell in a role with acting sequences
- Supervision and monitoring of the escape room including assistance and acting performances
- Preparation and follow-up of the escape room
- Answering questions about the Escape Game in the role of an actor
- Carrying out simple maintenance and repair work
- Familiarization with the booking software, cash register software, gamemaster software
Outdoor Escape Game
- Welcome, introduction and farewell in a role with acting sequences
- Preparation and follow-up of the equipment
- Answering all questions about the puzzles of the Outdoor Escape Games
- Beverage sales before and after the Games
GAMESHOW
- Welcome, introduction and farewell in a role with acting sequences
- Preparation and follow-up of the individual games
- Confident and determined appearance in front of a large group. Assertiveness with charm
- Animation of the group during the games
You can:
- Ideally you have experience in theater & or improvisation.
- Ideally, you have entertainers or animation skils, can take over a room and act in front of a large group with problems.
- You love dealing with guests and are communicative and open-minded.
- You are responsible, can work independently and can see tasks that need to be done on your own.
- You are a team player and can fit into existing structures.
- You are business fluent in German and are confident to play a role in English (native speaker not required).
- You are aware that jobs in the entertainment industry mainly require weekend working hours.
Sales / Distribution / Support in the home office
as a mini job
Many games also bring with them many questions. We want to help our customers quickly and help them to book the right experience or answer any questions that arise. The “Sales & Distribution” area is also to be expanded.
We are always happy to welcome new employees for our concept on a €556.00 basis. You start with 12,82€ / per hour. Apply to us now.
Your tasks:
- You work from home, preferably during the week between Monday and Friday
- You support us in support, answer e-mails and customer inquiries
- You take care of sales platforms and establish and maintain new sales channels.
- You take over the telephone service for fixed times and relieve the colleagues on site during this time.
You can:
- You have experience in customer support
- You love dealing with customers and are communicative and open-minded.
- You are responsible, can work independently and conscientiously
- You can quickly familiarize yourself with new software tools that make your work easier
- You are business fluent in German and confident in English (native speaker not required).

Game manager & catering employee

In addition to indoor escape rooms, the OPOLUM Escape Room Hamburg Theater also offers wonderful outdoor escape games, which our players then play around our location unaccompanied by staff.
We are always happy to welcome new employees for our concept on a €556.00 basis. You start with 12,82€ / per hour. Apply now as a game manager / catering employee (m/f/d) with us.
IMPORTANT: No acting training is required. However, you should be able to slip into a role as an assistant to our commissioners and be open, relaxed and communicative.
Your tasks:
Outdoor Escape Game
- Welcome, introduction and farewell, perspective in a role with acting sequences
- Preparation and follow-up of the equipment
- Answering all questions about the puzzles of the Outdoor Escape Games
- Catering for guests in our OPOLUM bar.
You can:
- You have experience in improvisation and can open and collect bottled drinks.
- You love dealing with guests and are communicative and open-minded.
- You are responsible, can work independently and can see tasks that need to be done on your own.
- You are a team player and can fit into existing structures.
- You are business fluent in German and have the confidence to speak to guests in English (native speaker not required).
- You are aware that jobs in the entertainment industry mainly require weekend working hours.

Carpenter
The OPOLUM Escape Room Hamburg Theater is the evolution of the ordinary escape room. In addition to brilliant puzzles, we also have theater and show elements. This makes us unique in Hamburg.
We are now looking for new employees for our concept on a €538.00 basis. Apply now to join us as a carpenter (m/f/d).
Your tasks:
Repair and maintenance
- Replace and repair broken backdrops
- independently find ways to build the rooms and backdrops more stable so that repairs are minimized
Building new room concepts
- We have sensational and revolutionary ideas. But we are not talented craftsmen. That’s why we need you!
- We give you a goal and explain to you exactly what we need. You are free to choose your own path to your goal and we want to develop your creativity and give your ideas space.
You can:
- You are very good at working with wood and are not afraid to operate a band saw.
- You can build enclosures from wood
- Desire to develop analog mechanics (e.g. with cable pulls)
- Metalwork is also ok for you.
- You are creative and communicative. We would say: A handyman and tinkerer?
- You want to inspire and amaze people with your buildings.
