If you want to park in the Speicherstadt, you will find one or two opportunities to do so. It is generally advisable to park your car on the outskirts of Hamburg in a free, video-monitored park-and-ride garage and then take the subway to the center of the Hanseatic city.
This is undoubtedly the cheapest way to enjoy the many attractions of the historic Speicherstadt at your leisure. Incidentally, it is only a four-minute walk from Meßberg subway station and around 350 m to the OPOLUM gates at Alter Wandrahm 7.
However, it is also easy to drive directly to the Speicherstadt and park there by car.

6 places where you can park well in the Speicherstadt
Parking Speicherstadt #1: Contipark parking garage Speicherstadt
You will find the entrance to the Conti Parkhaus Speicherstadt at Am Sandtorkai 6.
The first half hour is charged at one euro, the second at € 1.50 and each additional hour or part thereof at € 3. The maximum rate for 24 hours is € 24. If you park there for longer than five days, you will receive the discounted “crusader rate” and then only pay €10 for 24 hours.
From this parking garage it is only 650 meters to OPOLUM. The approximately eight-minute walk leads over two bridges at St. Annen and then along the Zollkanal to our Escape Room Theater.
Parking Speicherstadt #2: Miniatur Wunderland
The famous Miniatur Wunderland is located at Kehrwieder 2 and offers 44 parking spaces directly in front of its entrance.
If you are lucky enough to get one of the few parking spaces, you pay € 2 per hour and a maximum of € 15 for a day ticket.
The walk from Wunderland to the Escape Room Hamburg is around ten minutes and 800 meters long, via Brook and then also along the Zollkanal and Alter Wandrahm.
Parking Speicherstadt #3: Amundsen Haus
The Amundsen Haus parking lot is located very close to the Mini-Wunderland, at the address Kehrwieder 8-12.
From here it is a leisurely 12-minute stroll to OPOLUM, 950 meters away via Brooktorkai and Alter Wandrahm.
The first 30 minutes are free, after that you pay € 4 per hour and € 35 for 24 hours.
Parking Speicherstadt #4: Contipark underground parking garage Am Sandtorkai
However, the entrance address for the Contipark underground parking garage is not at Sandtorkai, but right next to it in Singaporestraße Haus 2.
From here it is only 550 meters to our Escape Room Hamburg, which you can easily cover in seven minutes via Brooktorkai.
The hourly rate is very fairly calculated at €2 per hour. And if you’re still enjoying the nightlife after a visit to OPOLUM and only pick up your car after midnight, you won’t get a nasty surprise when you collect your car, as the day ticket costs a reasonable €12 until 3 a.m. at the latest.
Parking Speicherstadt #5: Hanseatic Trade Center
The parking facilities at the Hanseatic Trade Center also offer very good value for money. Especially for drivers who want to stay a little longer in the city center with their car.
The first 30 minutes are not charged here and then every hour costs € 3. The maximum rate, which also applies here until 3 a.m. at the latest, is just €8 and anyone who parks their car here for 24 hours only pays €24.
The entrance address near the Elbphilharmonie is “Am Sandtorkai 74-77“. From here, it is best to stroll the 1.3 km to the OPOLUM via Brook and see a large part of the historic Speicherstadt on this twenty-minute walk.
Parking Speicherstadt #6: Contipark underground parking garage Überseequartier
For this parking facility directly in the Speicherstadt, you also pay € 3 per hour and only € 24 for 24 hours. This Contipark garage, located at Überseeallee 3, also offers the above-mentioned “crusader rate” for parking for five days or more – and this then costs €12 per day.
And it’s only a comfortable 850 meters to OPOLUM via Brooktorkai, which shouldn’t take much more than 10 minutes.
