“Kammerflimmern – The Angel of Death” at the Dorsten Secret Depot
The sadistic physician Dr. Balsinger has made it his mission to cheat death and develop a drug that gives him immortality. When it was discovered that the research on his patients was extremely painful for them, he was banned from doing it. However, this psychopath was determined not to give up and now carries out his inhumane experiments on his only daughter. He has set up his secret experimental laboratory in an old colliery building.
When you enter the laboratory, you can really smell the horror. It smells like an operating theater, spiced with a pinch of decay. Brrrrr! And then there are the repeated screams of the mysterious Betty, who you absolutely must put out of her misery.
Do the operators of this escape room know about all the machinations here? Are they perhaps in cahoots with the mad doctor? Is this all a trap and you and your friends are just here to be bound and gagged and used as guinea pigs? Help! You have to get out of here! But how?
This particularly creepy story is not for the faint-hearted and can therefore only be visited by players over the age of 16.
Horror factor: 7/10
Playing time: 120 minutes
Participants: 2 to 9

“Horror Events” by Battlefield for Friends in Berlin, Hanover, Ramstein and the Czech Republic
Even absolute hardcore escape room horror junkies will get their bloodthirsty taste here. On former abandoned military sites, you can experience horror game modes of the extra creepy class, which are inspired by well-known zombie games as well as horror films and series. To win, you have to successfully complete various scary missions. The goal? Simple. You have to survive.
With authentic lost place locations, which would be scary enough without an escape room horror setting, and professional live actors, the events are the perfect chance to test your mental limits. Shudder-inducing storylines with titles such as “Stay alive”, “Silent Death” and “The Hostel” will make even the toughest escape room horror fans break out in a sweat. That’s why the age limit for participation is 18.
Is a day of horror too boring for you despite a game lasting up to 6 hours? Then you even have the option of getting nightmares that you won’t soon forget as part of multi-day events.
Horror factor: 10/10
Playing time: 5-6 hours
Participants: unlimited

“Stay in the Dark” in the DarkPark Rotterdam
Horror in Rotterdam: A sinister figure has tracked you down in your hiding place and is slowly approaching you. The terrifying stranger grabs you by the shoulders and his face gets closer and closer to yours. Its empty, dead eyes seem to look right through you, your body is flooded with adrenaline and your heart is beating up to your neck. Will you survive this horror game unscathed?
With a duration of around 2.5 hours and live experiences with terrifying actors on more than 4000 m2, spread over several floors, this horror trip demands everything from you mentally and physically. This experience pushes the limits of what a person can handle.
In our opinion, the ultimate kick for adrenaline junkies and therefore only playable from the age of 18!

“Chainsaw – The dangerous game” escape room horror at OPOLUM
The term “Chainsaw” is deliberately reminiscent of the horror shockers “Texas Chainsaw Massacre” and “Saw”. In this new game at OPOLUM, a madman sets the tasks – and only those who can solve them in time will escape a gruesome death by chainsaw.
The OPOLUM team has created two different versions of “Chainsaw”. One offers a particularly intense, action-driven experience and has nothing to do with bloody horror elements, while the second version is guaranteed to give you goosebumps and is a real pain in the neck.
As horror and scares are very subjective perceptions, the horror version is tailored precisely to the respective group. The lighting and sound effects as well as the actors adapt live to the respective participants, so that every team gets the perfectly coordinated horror experience in the XXL escape room theater.
Horror factor: variable from 3/10 to 6/10
Playing time: 75 minutes
Participants: up to 12 people
